How I got paid by X (Twitter)

I just got my first X ad revenue sharing paycheck and here are the things I did to get there

In September 2024, I wrote an article about how I got one million organic impressions on X (Twitter) in just over a month. I talked about the six things I did to help drive engagement and all those impressions.

Today I hit a new X milestone, receiving my first payment as part of their ad revenue sharing program after hitting the required threshold to participate; you need five million impressions in a three-month period.

I got a check for $125.43.

My strategy for getting monetized on X

In a nutshell, my goal is to generate an average of at least 50,000 impressions per day on X. With a premium account, you can view your analytics and see you daily numbers.

Lately, I’ve been focused on three things to help me toward my daily impressions goal on X:

1. Posting a few things throughout the day, trying to stay on topics that might be of interest to those who normally engage with me, but I don’t worry about it too much.
