With a quick search online, you’ll find dozens of options for marketing funnels.

Each funnel example has different names for the various stages a customer will move through, as they go from unknown to a buyer. But, toward the top of most funnels, is a stage called “Awareness.”

Awareness is the moment when a customer learns who you are. Your marketing, word-of-mouth or some other factor caused them to discover your product. Now that you have their attention, the next step is critical.

It’s time to make their life better. Let’s dive in.

How does your product solve someone’s problem?

After you’ve reached the awareness stage with a customer, it can be tempting to just talk about all the great features your product has and to go right for the sale.

But first, you need to focus on how your product is going to solve a problem for the potential customer.

Don’t tell them about the features. Instead, turn those bullet points about features into benefits the customer will receive from them.
