Follow these seven steps to find yours
Writing in Your Voice Has Never Been Easier
Finding your unique writing voice can feel like an impossible task, but it doesn’t have to be. The secret? You already have one — you just need to uncover it or, in some cases, get out of its way.
Your voice is the way you naturally communicate, but many people lose it when they try too hard to sound a certain way. Here’s how to find yours.
1. Write How You Speak
Imagine you’re explaining an idea to a friend over coffee. How would you phrase it? What words would you use? Your natural speech patterns are a great guide. If your writing feels stiff or unnatural, try reading it out loud. If you wouldn’t say it that way in conversation, rewrite it.
Technology makes it easier than ever to write the way we speak. If you’re hitting a wall, try this hack to find your voice and create content or check out the article below or finding your voice. I also have a YouTube video about what I find to be the best content creation hack.
